Materials We Use

We work with:

• Terracotta tiles from trusted Australian suppliers
• Reclaimed slate to match existing roofs where possible
• Traditional leadwork for flashing and finishing details

Every tile is laid by hand, with precision and patience.

Our Reroofing Process

Every reroof follows a careful sequence — we don’t move on until each step is done right.

We start with a thorough inspection of the slate, timber, underlay, flashings and ridgeline, then give you a clear picture of what’s needed.

From there, we help you choose the right material — new Welsh or Spanish slate, reclaimed slate to match the original, or terracotta and shingle where the home calls for it. We source everything ourselves.

The existing roof is stripped by hand, with any salvageable slates sorted and set aside. The timber frame is inspected and repaired where needed. New sarking and battens go down to give the slates a solid, even base.

Then comes the installation — each slate measured, cut where needed and fixed by hand using traditional methods. We finish with new flashings, valleys, ridge capping and any lead or metalwork, checking every detail before we come down.
