Slate Roof Restorations was founded in 2019. Oliver Stearman lived on the border of England and Wales only a mere 3o minutes from the original Welsh quarries that provided some of the first famous slate. Having worked and trained in England and Wales, he brings the classical elements of traditional slating but with a modern Australian twist.
The team has worked with some of the biggest names in the slating game and the combination of their English, Welsh, and Australian heritage (and with their long history and passion for roofing) can be seen in the beautiful work they produce.
